Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to all VixHosting services operated by VixVoid and to customers, users, administrators and other persons using a customer account. It supplements our Terms of Service.
1. Scope and permitted use
VixHosting provides game-server hosting and related services. Customers may use allocated resources to run supported game-server software, legitimate modifications and plugins, multiplayer communities, and files or databases reasonably connected to the purchased service. All use remains subject to the product's resource limits and technical restrictions.
2. Prohibited use
You must not use the service to conduct or facilitate illegal activity; distribute malware; operate botnets or command-and-control infrastructure; attack networks, systems or users; gain unauthorised access; host phishing, scams or fraudulent content; send spam; infringe intellectual-property rights; distribute stolen credentials or unlawfully obtained data; bypass security or resource limits; mine cryptocurrency without permission; operate public file distribution, proxy, VPN, relay or scraping services without permission; facilitate unlawful gambling, terrorism, violent extremism or unlawful violence; or otherwise materially harm VixHosting, its infrastructure, customers, third parties or the public.
3. Laws, sanctions and fraud
You must comply with all applicable laws, sanctions, export restrictions and other binding requirements. You must not use false, stolen or misleading information to create an account, order services or make payments. Payment fraud, chargeback abuse, impersonation and attempts to evade restrictions are prohibited.
4. Sub-users and resources
You may allow players, moderators and administrators to use your server with your permission. You remain responsible for use under your account and must take reasonable steps to stop misuse. You must not intentionally consume CPU, memory, storage or network resources in a way that materially interferes with the service or other customers.
5. Monitoring and enforcement
We do not routinely inspect private server content merely to determine customer activity. We may review logs, resource usage, network activity, reported content or other relevant information where reasonably necessary to investigate abuse, respond to complaints, protect systems, enforce this policy or comply with law.
Where we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may issue a warning, require activity to stop, restrict network access or functionality, suspend the affected service, or terminate it in serious or repeated cases. We may act without prior notice when necessary to stop attacks, fraud, malware, serious security threats, illegal activity or other urgent harm.
6. Report abuse
Report suspected abuse to [email protected] with enough information to identify the affected service. We may update this policy where reasonably necessary because of service, security, legal or abuse-risk changes.
